JPku

Ceria

programme every Sunday

from 6 10am.

The week l y progr amme wi l l

start tomorrow at the Jerudong

Park Playground, in support of the

Bandarku Ceria

programme and

contribute to the domestic tourism

activities in the country.

JPku Ceria

, which complements the

September school holidays, provides

the opportunity for JPCC to share its

values to the public to “explore, share

and enjoy”.

Different themes will be incorporated

every Sunday throughout September.

ThisSunday’s themewill beKedayan - one

of the seven ethnic groups of Brunei.

the Melayu Kedayan Association

(PEMEDAYAN) to host the ‘Dapoo

Kedayan’ (Kedayan Kitchen) at

the Jerudong Park Food Court on

September 4-6 from 10am to 9pm.

A wide variety of food choices from

the Kedayan community’s favourites

will be available, with the highlight

on

Nasi Katok Kedayan

. Its main

objective is to promote Kedayan

traditions to the public especially the

younger generation.

Visitors can expect •irst-hand

interaction with members of the

Brune i Kedayan e t hn i c group.

Activities have also been lined up

and can be participated by several

age groups.

the efforts by the mosque congregants to

glorify mosques through daily recitation of

Al-Quran. “We adhere to the standard operating

procedure (SOP) in carrying out religious

activities at the mosque, and believe that

reading Al-Quran brings blessings and help

gain multiple rewards.

“We also pray for the nation to be free from

COVID 19 pandemic,” he said.

The ceremony began with the recitation of

Surah

Al-Fatihah

, followed by the recitation of

Surah-Surah

Garrison yesterday.

In a speech, Major General Pengiran

Dato Paduka Seri Aminan expressed his

con•idence in the leadership of the new

RBAFCommander as the newChairman

of the Board of Directors of KOWIRA to

expand the business towards a more

stable and competitive direction.

During the three years when he held

the post, Major General Pengiran Dato

Paduka Seri Aminan has witnessed

the positive development of KOWIRA

in diversifying products and services

as well as ensuring sustainability.

Since 2017, KOWIRA has provided

a minimum of 10 per cent return

in dividends.

He also expressed his gratitude to

the KOWIRA Board and staff, and hoped

they continue to make strides towards

excellence and professionalism.

Haji Hamzah presented a souvenir to

Seri Aminan. The event also saw

the presentation of performance

bonus and honorarium by the

former RBAF Commander.
