Case 142 is a local male aged 24 studying

National Isolation Centre.

Thirteen contacts have been identiied

Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji

Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham said,

“As the case has been taken to the National

Isolation Centre upon arrival in the country,

the public is advised not to panic or worry

as this case has not had any interaction with

his family members or others since arriving

in the country.”

Explaining about the latest conirmed

case and identiied 13 contacts, the minister

said, “Two Bruneians returned from Yemen.

They travelled from Yemen to Cairo, and

from there to Kuala Lumpur and then Bru-

Yemen and tested positive for COVID 19 as

highlighted by Malaysia in a recent press re-

KUALA LUMPUR (AFP) - Malaysia's ex-inance

minister, now a key opposition igure, was

charged with corruption yesterday over a

USD1.5 billion construction project, the lat-

est government critic to be targetted since a

scandal-plagued party returned to power.

Lim Guan Eng is the highest-proile igure

yet to face a criminal probe in a sweeping

crackdown on dissent launched by the new

administration, and says the case against

him is politically motivated.

A crowd of journalists and supporters, in-

cluding fellow MPs, were waiting for him as

he arrived at a Kuala Lumpur court yesterday

morning, following his arrest by anti-graft of-

icials the previous evening.
