Brunei continued its streak of no
new COVID 19 cases for 27 days
straight yesterday, with the national
tally of cases remaining at 141.
No recovery case was recorded
yesterday, and the public has
been called on to pray for the full
recovery of the remaining active
COVID 19 patient in the country,
who is in a critical condition.

Alhamdulillah
, with the grace of
Allah the Almighty, there is no new
COVID 19 case in the country. The
total number of cases in Brunei
Darussalam remains at 141, with
the total number of recovery cases
standing at 138.”
“There is only one case being
treated at the National Isolation
Centre (NIC). Thepatient is inacritical
condition and requires a heart-lung
machine (ECMO) and respiratory
assistance. Let us together pray
for the patient to be granted full
recovery by Allah the Almighty.”
The minister said 261 samples
had been tested for the SARS CoV 2
virus, bringing the total number of
laboratory tests conducted since
January 2020 to 19,885.

A breakdown of COVID 19 cases
in the country showed 110 cases
were recorded in the Brunei-Muara
District, 25 in the Belait District and
six in the Tutong District.

The BruHealth app yesterday
saw an increase in the number
of registrations by local business
establishments, premises and
members of the public.
A total of 268,388 individuals
have registered as users to the
application.
In addition, 5,039 businesses
and premises have also registered.

press conference yesterday.
The breakdown of businesses
and premises registered for the
BruHealth app showed that 1,481
are restaurants, 611 schools, 486
retail shops, 378 ofices, 327
government premises, 243 food
stalls, 163 gyms, 202 barbers/sa-
lons, 51 car workshops, 49 shop-
ping malls, 47 health centres and
clinics, 34 recreational clubs, 26
places of interest, 22 supermar-
kets, 21 markets, 12 indoor play-
grounds, 12 golf courses, 15 plac-
es of worship, seven cinemas, 11
hospitals, 156 take-outs, one pet-
rol station and one ride sharing,
one bus, and 682 others.
Public cooperation in the use of
the BruHealth app and the scanning
of the QR code at the entry and
exit points at premises will ensure
the safety of the merchants and
customers. It also facilitates contact
tracing should there be an outbreak
of infections.
